Today, the Education and Market Development departments have carried out activities for each department.
Education Department visited Baan Choktai School. PRENGO participated in the morning assembly yesterday and started the activity.
In the morning, EDD was divided into two groups, one for teacher meetings and the other for interaction with children. At the meeting with the teachers, we mainly exchanged opinions about the school environment.
We created Misanga and Origami activities for the exchange-related events. The children's put effort during activities made PRENGO members very delighted.
Since today is Valentine's Day, many members were seen getting heart-shaped stickers pasted on their polo shirts and receiving artificial roses during the exchange activities.
In the afternoon, we played volleyball as a sports event, but it was canceled due to heavy rain. As a result, PRENGO members were able to review their activities.
The Market Development Department continued product development activities at Niwet's activity based on what we left yesterday.
We dyed towels, T-shirts, sweatshirts, and socks in the morning.
Using 4 colors of pink, blue, green, and yellow dyes dyed.
We used rubber bands, popsicle sticks, disposable chopsticks, etc., to create products with various patterns during the process.
We were able to use the experience from our last trip to create our own masterpiece product to make it unique from our own hands.
In the afternoon, we were divided into two groups for activities. As we did yesterday, the first group made a prototype of cricket rice crackers. We increased the seasoning repertoire by using several types of powder we purchased after yesterday's activity.
From there, we were able to research a more authentic cricket rice cracker based on advice from the Niwet people.
The second group made toys for Thai children using recycled materials such as plastic bottles, scraps of cloth, etc.
The members put their heart and soul into creating unique toys, such as puppets and fishing games, hoping the children would enjoy themselves as much as possible.
We plan to continue our activities tomorrow, divided into the Education Department and the Market Development Department.
Stay tuned for our next post!
