Day 13 of Summer Expedition 2024

This morning, the Exchange Division held discussions with local collaborators about the bilateral market that will take place during the spring trip and the "Do What You Want" classroom that was conducted during the current trip. In the afternoon, we developed ideas for future activities of the Exchange Division based on the meeting's content and held a conference with the members who remained in Japan.

As with the first-time project of visiting middle and high schools, we are also considering new projects that will allow for ongoing interaction with the local community, even for those projects where the future direction is still uncertain.

Today marked the final day of the Education Department (EDD)’s activities for this expedition. 🌟🎓 We began with the last session of the English Station for Upper Grades, where the students performed the stories they had learned with PRENGO members. This session was held outdoors in the school’s backyard. To start, we warmed up with the “Baby Shark” dance, which everyone enjoyed. 🦈🎶

After that, we divided the students into two groups, each performing different stories so everyone could enjoy and learn from each other’s presentations. It was wonderful to see how much fun the students were having! Most of them performed without needing scripts, showing they had memorized the English well. Some groups even went out with their acting, which was truly impressive! After the performances, PRENGO members selected the best groups and rewarded them with Japanese sweets and snacks. 🍬🍫 Before wrapping up the class, we asked the students to complete a survey to share their thoughts and feelings about the English Station for Upper Grades activities.

In the afternoon, we hosted an exchange event where EDD members played with students from all grades. It was an enjoyable time for both PRENGO members and the children. 😊🎉

To conclude, we had a meeting with the teachers of Wat Taksin Waree Elementary School. We reviewed the activities we conducted, including the materials and content used. We shared our experiences with the English Station for both Lower and Upper Grades, as well as the Career Education sessions. Both EDD members and teachers exchanged feedback and reflections on this expedition’s activities. We also held a Q&A session to gather insights and suggestions on improving the quality of EDD activities, which provided us with valuable information and data. 📊💡

In order to collect materials for TikTok, the PR department went to 7-Eleven in the morning to shoot the necessary videos and purchase the necessary products for each theme! 🌷✨Since we were with members of the Thailand volunteer team, we were able to shoot while learning about recommended products, snacks, and meals available at the convenience store! 🍰🍭In the afternoon, we went to a mall called ROBINSON to shoot a video introducing non-food items! ✨📷Since we had a lot of material to shoot, we were divided into groups and actedindependently! It was a valuable time for us to get materials that we can't shoot in Japan and that will enhance our future posts! Thank you 😊.

The Market Development Department first held a department meeting. There, we reviewed the entire trip. Next, we prepared for our meeting with Sanya. In the afternoon, we had a meeting with Sanya. After that, we had a department meeting to discuss the future schedule and activities. 😊

Today was the final day of PRENGO’s activities. To mark the end of this period, a farewell party was held at the hotel, where local people prepared and shared a meal with us.

Thanks to the cooperation of many local individuals, we were able to carry out our activities successfully.

We hope that PRENGO will continue to build strong relationships with the people of Surin Province, Thailand.
