Hello! It has now been a week since our spring trip began✨ Today’s blog for Day 7 is by Ame-chan, who joined the Market Development Department today!
On Day 7, the Market Development Department conducted a herb dyeing activity. A few days ago, we collected dye materials and participated in a herb dyeing workshop. This time, we held a workshop together with elementary school students✨ We learned about the different types of dyes and the colors they produce.

In the morning, we prepared fabrics and clothes for dyeing by folding and securing them with rubber bands and bamboo sticks. The areas that were tied off would resist the dye, creating unique patterns. With the children, we discussed what kinds of patterns they wanted to create and completed the preparations. Preparations ended with dipping in dye.

Ta da! Completed one is here!

Each piece, dyed with natural herb pigments, turned out uniquely beautiful, making our hearts dance with excitement. The children also enjoyed seeing their ideas come to life through their designs!

Stay tuned for our Day 8 blog post! 🎵✨
