Today, the EDD held activities for the “English Station for Upper Grades” and “Career Education” at Wat Thaksin Waree Elementary School! 🌟📚
In the morning, during the 1st and 2nd periods, PRENGO members started with the English Station for Upper Grades. The team split into groups, alternating between indoor and outdoor activities. Inside the classroom, the students reviewed the stories they had been learning, practicing to strengthen their knowledge. Outside, they prepared for tomorrow’s performances, helping the students rehearse their stories without relying on scripts. To make the activities more enjoyable, the EDD members performed the popular English song “Baby Shark” and danced along with the students, who had a lot of fun! 🦈🎶
During the 3rd and 4th periods, the final session of the “Career Education” project took place, where the 5th and 6th graders presented their future career aspirations. The students showcased the drawings they had created of their desired careers, bringing the career lessons to a close. Seeing the variety of dreams and goals the students had was inspiring. Tomorrow, we look forward to continuing the English Station for Upper Grades, where the students will present the stories they have learned! 🎨👩🎓
At the end of the day, EDD members gathered student feedback to help improve future activities. They also spent some time playing with the handmade toys from MDD’s activities in the schoolyard, creating even more memorable moments with the children. 🌸😊
Today, the Exchange Department visited a kindergarten in Surin and interacted with the local children.🌟Despite the high temperatures, PRENGO members showed no signs of fatigue as they actively engaged with the energetic kids, spending a fun-filled time together.✨ It was incredibly heartwarming to see the children playing with the toys that PRENGO members had lovingly crafted in the past, which added even more joy to their day. 🎠🎉
😊The children’s smiles and boundless energy are always a delightful surprise.✨ Their free and creative ways of playing gave us a fresh perspective. After the interaction, we had the opportunity to talk with the kindergarten teachers about the facility, gaining a deeper understanding of the children’s daily lives and routines. 🏫✏️
We aim to continue these exchanges and strengthen our bonds with the local community.🤝 We will keep working hard to impact their lives, even in small ways, positively.🌱💪
Today, MDD visited a Silk Village to learn about and experience the famous silk of Surin! ✨ First, we greeted the villagers and created flower brooches and earrings using silk fabric! 💖 While the intricate handwork required some precision and was a bit challenging, we had a lot of fun crafting these items! It was fascinating to see how the design of each piece varied based on the stitching techniques, highlighting the charm of handmade work! 😊 We also had the opportunity to observe how skirts and long clothes are woven from silk—a genuinely mesmerizing process! 👀💫
Next, we visited a local garden where we were given a tour and learned about the plants being grown and their sales methods. This information was particularly valuable as MDD considers online sales part of our future activities! 🌱
Finally, we toured a facility where Wagyu beef imported from Japan is raised. We learned about this high-quality beef's breeding methods, sales techniques, and distribution channels! 🐮
