Hello everyone! Today, our team split into two groups: the Education and Interaction Department and the Market Development Department.
In the morning, the Education and Interaction Department visited Nhong Yang School. We started by participating in the school’s morning assembly, followed by some ice-breaking activities. We then delved into our planned projects. There were unexpected challenges that surpassed our initial assumptions, but we were able to adapt our plans on-the-fly and interact meaningfully with the children.
One of the highlights was the "High Tower" challenge, aimed at boosting the children's motivation to learn. Teams competed to see who could build the tallest tower using only disposable chopsticks and rubber bands. We also played other interactive games like "Red Light, Green Light", "Hide and Seek", and a ball drop game, which fostered even deeper connections with the students.
In the afternoon, we visited Tramdom School. While there were some deviations from our original plans, we managed to respond flexibly. We engaged with students across different grades: 4th, 5th, and 6th. The activities included the Hightower and calligraphy, as in the first school. It was enlightening to see the varied interests and capabilities across these grade levels, and all of us from PRENGO learned immensely from this experience.
Meanwhile, the Market Development Department visited Suan Niwet Kaset Sin. Here, we held meetings to discuss our future activities and had an opportunity to experience traditional plant-based dyeing processes. We conducted interviews about the plant-dyed products we're considering selling in Japan, delving deep into the intricacies of this craft. The hands-on dyeing experience further enriched our understanding, helping us to visualize our upcoming product offerings better.
Tomorrow, we plan to continue with activities divided by department. Stay tuned for more updates!
