Day 3 of Summer Expedition 2024

On the morning of Day 3 of our expedition, we split into two groups. The first group explored the Green Market and later interacted with children using toys created by PRENGO in past expeditions. It was heartwarming to see the children happily playing with these handmade toys. Meanwhile, the second group visited Surin Fresh Market to savor some delicious local cuisine. 🍚✨

In the afternoon, we participated in an opening ceremony with Niwet, a local partner supporting PRENGO’s initiatives, at Surindra Rajabhat University. We learned about Niwet’s various community support efforts, land art projects and markets that bridge Japan and Thailand. This provided us with valuable insights into how PRENGO can contribute. We also had the opportunity to view the university’s art exhibits, offering us a firsthand experience of Thai art. 👀

For dinner, we visited Prasat Krong Thom Market. The market stalls featured a variety of goods and clothing, and there was an excellent selection of food as well. 🛍️ It was a perfect opportunity to enjoy some shopping and dining while relaxing and preparing for the next day’s activities.
