Hello! Today, just like yesterday, we split into the Education Department, Exchange Department, and Market Development Department to carry out our activities.
The Education Department revisited Wat Taksin Waree School in the morning. We held a presentation of the picture story show that we created with the children during our last visit. Collaborating with team members, we crafted unique and original stories. Afterwards, we discussed future activities with the teachers. We were able to set a specific direction for our next visit, making it an extremely productive time.
In the afternoon, we visited Choktai School where we engaged in interactive activities like the self-introduction game, Rock-Paper-Scissors Train, and High Tower.
The Market Development Department returned to Suwan Niwet Kaset Sin in the morning and continued with the plant dyeing experience from yesterday. Afterward, we had lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we interviewed P’Ya, our collaborator in plant dyeing sales, and conducted a filming session. Later, we had another meeting with P’Ya to realign our goals and policies for the future.
The Exchange Department revisited Siram Prachasa School and had a meeting with Teacher Nat. Through our cultural exchange activities and participation in Japanese lessons during this trip, we discussed whether to continue these initiatives in our subsequent visits. We shared our vision for support, aligned with the needs of the local schools, and discussed how to move forward.
Today marked the conclusion of all our activities for this trip. For dinner, we hosted a final party at Suan Niwet Kaset Sin and invited the teachers from the schools we visited.
Tomorrow, we will be leaving Surin and heading to Bangkok. Look forward to our next update!
